It’s the little things…. :)

…that can make you chuckle–like new “High Tech” gadgetry!!:D

I just had my first “QR” code made to give people an option to sign up for my email newsletters,

surveys, tips, specials, etc. Those of you who have a “smart” phone should be able

to read the code right here, then it’s supposed take you to a registration form where

you can sign up with your email. Then, if I have set it up correctly, you should get a

confirmation email to make REALLY sure you want to get my emails..I hate spam,

and wouldn’t want to bother anyone…

Don’t worry, there won’t be too many emails……:)

“Wow!! I look good….”

“Monica creates a comfortable atmosphere which makes posing
for pictures easy. My photos look very professional. Monica has
shown great technical abilities and a personal touch that brings
out the best in clients.
I will consider Monica Cowles Photography FIRST for all future photos”

All DONE!!

Well, that was a fun year–challenging, stretching, encouraging, and hopefully improving my photography.  I’m afraid I sorta fizzled out at the end, trying to fulfill the requirements with many other engagements and preparations common to this time of the year, but I made it! Thank you to those who took the time to comment and offer your encouraging words!!:)

This post finishes off weeks 52 and 53 of Project 52. Those themes were “Mirrors” and “Christmas”.

I will not be starting a project 52 next year, but I will be doing another project, which will be a once a month theme, and on a larger scale. My goal is to add to my portrait portfolio with specific assignments. I’m still working on the details, but I may be calling on you to help me…:)

Happy New Year!!!

Project 52 Week 51 Winter/Summer

The PNW is not known for its crispy white winters, tending instead toward the grey, wet side…so, it wasn’t particularly inspiring to think about an outside image for this week’s theme.

But, I rather enjoy the short days, looking forward to snuggling down in front of the fire with a warm cup of tea and a project to keep my hands busy. Great time to ponder the events of life, and try to make sense of things…fortunately, a biblical worldview, while not having all the answers, brings hope to the darkness.

Next week, “Mirrors”
