Project 52 Week 11 “Spring/Autumn”

EEEK! I almost missed the Tuesday deadline!

Life has been a little hectic last week…Anyway, I thought this image depicted sort of a springy ‘new beginning’ with the crocus’ peeking out of the very late snow surprise…:o)

Next week’s theme is “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” I am not looking forward to this one in the least. Just not my taste of subject matter, I guess…:/

Project 52 Week 10

This week’s theme was “Depth of Field”.

My interpretation assumes a narrow depth of field, which is best illustrated by a line of objects from near to far with one in sharp focus. The narrow depth of field is created by opening up the camera’s aperture, and carefully lining up the object you wish to be in focus with the plane of the camera’s sensor so the whole of the object is in the focal range. You can achieve many interesting and artistic effects with this method. Go out and practice!:)

Coming up next week, “Spring/Autumn”.

Project 52 Week 9

“In the Workplace”

My husband’s, that is…..just look at all those gleaming tools of his profession…..Have you been taking good care of your teeth?:)

Next week’s theme is “Depth of Field”

Project 52 Week 8 “Other Photographers”

Okay, well it didn’t say other ‘Professional’ photographers, so I casually mentioned to my boy that he should get his camera out and let me take a picture of him!:)

This was a tricky one, as it took me awhile to figure out how to catch that flash.  After running through several series’ of burst mode missing it every time, I finally figured out that I needed to slow down my shutter speed to 1 second and *YAY*!!

I got it!                                                                       Photographer

Next week is “In the

Workplace”

(Remember, it’s never too

late to join me!!:)

Week 7 “Shadows”

Well, I felt particularly uninspired this week, I think my level of activity has a direct affect on the level of creativity…and this week was a very busy one…:/

Shadows on a wall

I did find some ‘shadows’,

But I still haven’t spotted

anyone willing to join me

in this adventure!:)

Please, don’t be

shy, I know there are lots

of you who like photography.

This is a great way to

stretch yourself and improve

your skills! Even if the week

is  a dud like mine was,

you are still growing!:)

Next week’s theme is;

“Other Photographers”.
