Besides that, babies grow up SO fast!! I can hardly believe my youngest is already 11. Time flies, and it’s hard to remember what those precious little bundles of joy even looked like. When I look at old videos and photos of my babies, I often marvel to myself, “did they really look like that?” That’s why it is so important to preserve the huge and blazingly fast changes those young ones go through. Schedule regular professional portrait sessions and be sure to take lots of your own pictures as well.
One thing we did as our babies grew so fast during their first year, was to take a photo of them every month sitting or standing by their favorite toy, or standing next to a ‘growth chart’ that hangs on the wall….we put those in a book and even our kids enjoy looking at how quickly they started looking less like little babies, and more like little ‘people’!
