Project 52 Week 23 “SooC”

My entry for ”SooC” Which, for those who are new to the language of photography, means, “Straight out of Camera”. This is a good challenge because as photographers we can sometimes rely too heavily on post processing to create a piece of art, rather than learning the endless capabilities of our cameras.
For this image, I focused on the bright edge of the pot, set my camera for about a 1.5 second exposure, and zoomed in while the shutter was open. It took many tries before I found the combination of movement, zoom, and composition that satisfied my vision. Then I couldn’t resist putting at least a stroke of color around the edge…O.o so it’s ‘mostly’ Sooc….:O)
